Precision Debugging of Plate Fiber Laser Cutting Machine

Reading Time: 3 minutes

High precision plate fiber laser cutting machines are widely used in the cutting and processing of metal materials, and the accuracy of plate fiber laser cutting machines determines the cutting quality and production efficiency of metal parts. Any laser cutting machine will have certain accuracy errors after a period of use, which are often caused by changes in focal length. It is necessary to adjust the focal length in a timely manner. So how to debug accuracy is a very important technology in the use of laser cutting machines. Let’s take a look below.

The laser cutting machine itself is a large-scale project, and its components are also very precise during production, with high requirements for accuracy. Many times, after using a laser cutting machine for a period of time, the accuracy suddenly becomes less accurate. In this case, it is necessary to observe whether the focus and focal length of the cutting part are adjusted correctly. The light spot of the focus laser is often modulated to be very small. In this case, a special initial relevant setting is made to determine a series of focal positions based on the size of the light spot, Of course, as long as everyone recognizes that the laser spot reaches a particularly small point, another position is the particularly good processing focal length. In this case, we can set the position of that place there and then let such a device start working. In addition, during the first half of the debugging of the laser cutting machine, you can also use some different tools, such as adjusting the focal length, which is often important for debugging. Many accuracies can be mastered, and at the same time, you can also move the laser up and down because only in this way can you have a certain level of control over the height, and the laser spots will vary in size, requiring multiple adjustments, Only then can we find a particularly suitable focal point and determine the relevant position.

When debugging the accuracy of the plate fiber laser cutting machine, the following points need to be noted:

  1. When the focal point of the laser is adjusted to a particularly small size, a spot is established to determine the focal length position based on the size of the light spot. When the laser spot reaches a particularly small size, this position is a good processing focal length and processing work begins.
  2. In the first part of debugging the laser cutting machine, we can use some workpiece tailings and waste materials to determine the accuracy of the focal length position. Moving the position of the upper and lower laser head height will cause different changes in the size of the laser spot when shooting. Make multiple adjustments at different positions to identify a particularly small spot position to determine the focal length and optimal position of the laser head.
  3. After the installation of the laser cutting machine, a marking device can be installed on the cutting nozzle of the CNC cutting machine, and a simulated cutting pattern can be drawn through the marking device, such as a square with a simulated pattern of 1m. A circle with a diameter of 1m is built in, and diagonal lines are drawn at the four corners. After drawing, use a measuring tool to measure whether the drawn circle is tangent to the four sides of the square. Is the diagonal length of a square √ 2, approximately 1.41. The central axis of the circle should bisect the edges of the square, that is, the distance from the point where the central axis intersects the two sides of the square to the intersection point on both sides of the square should be 0.5m. Test Diagonal and Intersection.
