Step 1: Initial Inquiry and Requirement Analysis
Upon receiving the inquiry email, the customer sent us a form detailing their requirements. They were looking for an Auto Panel Bender and requested information on availability, pricing, and videos of the machinery.

The table provided listed the PR1400 model, but it lacked details on board thickness and bending style. To ensure an accurate model recommendation and suitable mold selection, I included three videos in my response:
A bending demonstration of the PR1400 intelligent bending machine.
A factory overview video.
An on-site commissioning video from Thailand.
Additionally, I advised the customer to send sample drawings for better evaluation. If higher bending accuracy was required, they could also send physical samples to our office. I assured them that I would directly coordinate with our factory to determine the best solution.
Step 2: Sample Analysis and Detailed Quotation
The customer agreed to send samples and inquired about our address. We received 11 drawings along with corresponding sample pieces for bending analysis. Ten days later, DHL notified us of the sample delivery.
Our technical team held a meeting to evaluate the 11 drawings, resulting in a detailed analysis report. The findings were:
8 drawings were compatible with the PR1400 model.
3 drawings could not be accommodated due to the following reasons:
The workpiece length (1800mm) exceeded the machine’s capacity.
One drawing required internal molding that was too small to meet the specifications.
One drawing featured a board too small for proper positioning and bending.
For the 8 feasible drawings, we committed to customizing hinge knives to meet all requirements. Additionally, we assured the customer that each sample would be tested before shipping. Only after successful testing would the final shipment be arranged.
Impressed by our professionalism and technical expertise, the customer decided to proceed with us.
Step 3: PI Signing and Final Machine Specifications
The customer signed the Proforma Invoice (PI), confirming the machine’s voltage, color, and other specifications. Their finance department also arranged a phone call with me to verify the payment account details.
We expressed our gratitude for their trust in Primapress and reaffirmed our commitment to delivering the best quality and service.
